Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is the leading provider of family accommodation for hospitals caring for children.
RMHC is able to provide support to parents and ensure they have somewhere to stay that is close to their child and available without cost.
Following several years of planning, fundraising and building, the Ronald McDonald House at Oxford Children's Hospital opened in May 2020, situated just moments away from the John Radcliffe Hospital on the main hospital site.
The House has everything a family could need to continue some semblance of normal life including kitchens, laundry facilities, day rooms and a garden.
The House has 62 bedrooms, meaning we are able to support over 1,000 families each year with children in the Oxford Children's Hospital, Critical Care Unit and Newborn Care Unit.
