Results from the upper limb assessment are interpreted in an inter-professional meeting.
The report includes:
- the patient's history
- clinical examination
- interpretation of the SHUEE or AHA assessment
- specific treatment recommendations including:
- physiotherapy, e.g. constraint induced movement therapy
- occupational therapy
- orthotic provision
- botulinum toxin injections
- surgery
- others as applicable, such as imaging or referrals to other specialised services.
Referrers and physiotherapists receive the report along with the clinical examination and scoring form.
