Clare Snelgrove, one of our Transplant Nurse Specialists, received a DAISY Award in recognition of the exceptional care she provided for a transplant patient.
Her nomination said: "Clare put the patient first at all times and went above and beyond to overcoming barriers, displaying empathy and true kindness…through her actions, a patient had a successful transplant and an improved quality of life."
Paula Gardner, our Interim Chief Nursing Officer, presented the award.
